    1. Album Review : Anberlin – Lowborn

      On Anberlin’s breakout 2008 major label debut, New Surrender, frontman Stephen Christian passionately sang that he wanted to “burn out brighter, brighter than the Northern lights.” Flash forward to 2014, and after 11 years of musical output, Anberlin has decided that it’s better to burn out bright than to fade away. To that end, the Florida quintet will be disbanding at the year’s end and has offered us its seventh and final album, entitled Lowborn, as a bittersweet parting gift. The album captures Anberlin in its purest form, beholden to neither fan nor label expectations, and the results are as polarizing as they are marvelous.

    2. News : Anberlin Announces Final Seattle Show – Showbox At The Market 10/13

      Some of the biggest news in the industry lately has been based around Anberlin’s final album and farewell world tour. With hints and pieces of new music from lowborn and random strings of dates announced so far, the band has finally posted dates for the rest of the US, including dates in Seattle 10/13 at Showbox, Portland 10/14, and Spokane at the Knitting Factory 10/15. Tickets for the Seattle date/whole tour will go live on July 11th, so bookmark the Showbox website to be first on the list!

    4. News : Anberlin Reveals Final Album Artwork, Album Title

      Back on Seattle label Tooth & Nail for their final album, Floridian rockers Anberlin just revealed their final album title, ‘Lowborn’, and the album artwork. Preorder packages will be available starting next week, and keep an eye out for farewell world tour dates in the PNW! Until then, make sure to catch Anberlin all Summer on the Vans Warped Tour, and watch for drummer Nate Young taking the throne behind Yellowcard’s kit as well!

    5. Gallery : The Weak’s End 10th Anniversary Tour At El Corazon 1/24

      Ten years, almost to the day. 9 years, 353 days. Last Friday night at El Corazon, Emery kicked off the West coast leg of their ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary tour. With fellow Seattle bands Peace Mercutio and The Classic Crime and Long Beach’s This Wild Life in tow, the second leg of the tour is off to a sensational start. As with the East Coast leg of the tour, the lineup is largely acoustic, with stripped-down Emery songs and Q&A sessions between sets.

    6. News : Anberlin To Return To Tooth & Nail For Final Record

      Anberlin, one of Tooth & Nail’s brightest alums, is returning to the storied Seattle record label to for a final album, due out this year. The 12 year old band posted a new video on the projected breakup, and have announced a final farewell world tour (dates TBA).     7. News : Emery Announces Next LP Launch Date Via ‘Bad Christian Music’ Label

      Earlier this year, Emery parted ways amicably with longtime label Tooth & Nail to start their own label, Bad Christian Music. Now, on the eve of the ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary tour, the Seattle band has announced a rough launch date of early 2014 for Emery’s next LP, ‘You Were Never Alone’ on Bad Christian Music. Subsequent Emery and Matt & Toby records will be released on the band’s label, and the hope is to bring other talent to the name as well.
