    1. News : Preview- Sales at The Crocodile 11/20

      Posted on in News

Our favorite Floridians come to town this Sunday! Sales, a mellow group consisting of Lauren Morgan and Jordan Shih, will be headlining The Crocodile accompanied by hometown faves Tangerine! If you’re unfamiliar with Sales think lo-fi sound with deep brilliant lyrics in short melodies leaving you hungry for more. The duo released their first self titled LP on April 20th (the best unofficial birthday gift I’ve ever received) and have proved yet again that they are artists to keep your eye on. They have sold out many of their stops while on this tour- meaning if you hope to join in on the fun you better get your tickets now!

Located right in the heart of the music venue/trendy bar/coffee shop/vintage store-infested Seattle neighborhood, Capitol Hill Block Party is the place to be for any music-loving hipster. It is an awesome festival to discover locals bands and catch a few of your favorite bigger name acts. So for those that want to relive the awesome weekend, or for any of you that wish you were there, I got your back! There is no possible way for me to talk about every single band at CHBP, so here is a rundown on the highlights of the three day festival:

    5. Interview : Tangerine – Capitol Hill Block Party Preview

Tangerine is a Seattle indie pop-rock quartet that has got some major flare. Glittering with sweet vocals by Marika Justad, pulsing beats by Miro Justad, driving bass lines provided by Ryan Baker, and vintage-y guitar riffs by Toby Kuhn – these freshly squeezed tunes will get you on your feet and dancing in no time (whether that be a slow-dance, or happy-go-lucky dance, Tangerine has got you covered). If Urban Outfitters ever needed a custom soundtrack for their store, Tangerine would be the perfect fit.
