    5. News : Into The Flood, The Ongoing Concept, Others To Play El Corazon 10/26

      In what is turning out to be a massive night in Northwest music, locals Into The Flood, The Ongoing Concept (ID), Dissimulator, Taker (both from Tacoma, WA) and We Move Mountains (Maple Valley, WA) will be storming the El Corazon stage on 10/26. All of these bands are promising young acts, and with advance tickets at $10, it’s sure to be a great night. Pick up tickets on the El Corazon calendar, or check out each band’s Facebook to get a sense of what’s coming out of the Northwest!

      Washington’s own True Holland had their van full of gear stolen early today in Tacoma. Police found the van gutted and empty, but the gear is still missing. The post from the band is below.       Tacoma’s Lo’ There Do I See My Brother has posted West Coast tour dates to push their upcoming 7″ release, ‘The Earth Beneath The Sea’. The tour will also feature Seattle band He Whose Ox Is Gored. The tour kicks off 10/17 in Portland, and will follow the coast south and inland to Nevada briefly before closing out in Seattle 10/29.       Seattle-based producer/DJ Wicked Gloves has posted yet another outstanding remix of a pop hit. This time, it’s a wubtastic version of Afrojack ft. Eva Simons’ Take Over Control.
