      Los Angeles Solid State band Silent Planet will be hitting Seattle’s Studio Seven tonight to perform their album The Night God Slept in full! Dayseeker, Projections, and a few other great bands will be playing. Tickets start at $10 and are available on the Studio Seven calendar.

      Alpine CA’s hardcore quintet Being As An Ocean announced their sophomore album today, ‘How We Both Wondrously Perish’, due out on InVogue Records 5/6.     4. News : Memphis May Fire Post First Studio Update

      Following 2012 breakout album ‘Challenger’, underdog metalcore act Memphis May Fire is hard at work on their fourth studio full-length, due out Q1 of this year. The partly Seattle based band posted their first studio update this weekend, focused on monstrous drummer Jake Garland. Check out the short clip below, which may feature some of the new material in the background, and catch Memphis May Fire headlining this February on The Unconditional Tour with The Word Alive, A Skylit Drive, Hands Like Houses, and Beartooth. The tour will pass through the PNW 3/18 in Spokane, 3/19 at Seattle’s Studio Seven, and 3/20 in Portland.

      The Brothers of Brutality rolled through Seattle, WA last month and it lived up to its name. The lineup included Emmure, Whitechapel, Unearth, Obey The Brave, The Plot In You & local openers Never Met a Deadman.

I’ve been going to ROALS shows since last year and with each show that Michael Miller, founder of Rock Out ALS, puts on, you can visibly notice his passion and ambition growing and building for a cause that’s so very personal to him.
