A lot of things in life have given me cause to say “whatever, forever” this year, but not music. I went into the last six months not expecting much, but in every (musical) way, 2014 has delivered so far. Also, 23/2013 overall just sucked, so whatever. Forever.
On June 1st (June already?!), Los Angeles rapper/spoken word artist Propaganda (@prophiphop) brought his album release tour to the humble city of Seattle. Only a month out from sleeper hit Crimson Cord, Prop had tour support in Humble Beast labelmates JGivens and Beautiful Eulogy, and Collision artist Swoope, who couldn’t make the Seattle date.
