    2. News : Minus The Bear Celebrates 10 Years Of ‘Beer Commercials’ With PNW Shows!

      Key Seattle band Minus The Bear will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of EP They Make Beer Commercials Like This with a pair of PNW shows this weekend! On Friday, 6/27, MTB will be performing at the Columbia Theater in South Seattle, and on Sunday, 6/29, they’ll be in Portland’s Doug Fir. EXCELLENT. Tickets start at $27.50 for the Seattle show and are available online via AXS.

      Seattle rock band Moneta will be headlining a great night of local music this Saturday, the 14th at El Corazon. Tsavo, Sell The Rights, and IANA will be present, as well as Kight for the release of debut album Fight To Fly. Tickets are available on the El Corazon website for $10 advance, or $12 at the doors.

      107.7 The End’s Summer Camp has been an immensely popular festival since its founding, and has sold out every year! The 2014 event will be held August 9th at Marymoor Park in Redmond, and features Phantogram, Bear Hands, Wild Cub, and more!       It’s always a good time scoping the diverse talent present in Seattle, and local quintet The Home Team is the latest in a string of great bands we’ve had the honor of reviewing! Led by vocalist Jairod Collins and filled out by guitarists John Baran and Nick Alzate, bassist Alex Larson and drummer Daniel Matson, this experienced outfit’s new EP ‘Black Sheep’ is a promising 5-track that joins the intensity of throwback pop punk with an updated, modern sound.
