The addictive act known as Hostage Calm are back, and this time, their music is more stylistically consistent. Their pop infested fusion of punk resonated well with fans on their last smash hit Please Remain Calm. After losing their eclectic and talented drummer in February, the band continued on to release an album entitled Die On Stage, bred for vocal lines and more distorted guitar riffs. The texturing of each track is more focused on melody, with bells and xylophones dominating the empty space above guitar lines. Enough writing, just listen to what I mean with opening track ‘When You Know.’
