      Last week Kyle and I dropped in to the Tractor Tavern to catch a local legend play a hometown show: Seattle’s My Goodness. Coming through on the last leg of their latest tour, this key rock band also brought fellow three-pieces Crash Kings and Dude York.

      Located right in the heart of the music venue/trendy bar/coffee shop/vintage store-infested Seattle neighborhood, Capitol Hill Block Party is the place to be for any music-loving hipster. It is an awesome festival to discover locals bands and catch a few of your favorite bigger name acts. So for those that want to relive the awesome weekend, or for any of you that wish you were there, I got your back!       Seattle’s newest label, Beating A Dead Horse Records, is excited to announce, well, a ton of stuff. The young label is off to a great start with local bands Posse and Neighbors. Posse will be releasing their second record, ‘Soft Opening’, out next March, while Neighbors will be releasing their newest album, ‘Will You Please Be Quiet, Please?’ out 5/14.
