      Seattle’s newest label, Beating A Dead Horse Records, is excited to announce, well, a ton of stuff. The young label is off to a great start with local bands Posse and Neighbors. Posse will be releasing their second record, ‘Soft Opening’, out next March, while Neighbors will be releasing their newest album, ‘Will You Please Be Quiet, Please?’ out 5/14.

      Local favorite ice cream chain Molly Moon’s serves up marvelous seasonal ice cream flavors, and this Fall is no exception. The stores have introduced a new flavor, Black Pepper Crème Fraîche, as one of this year’s Fall line, and is also serving Spiced Cider Sorbet, Vegan Coconut Chunk, and Pumpkin Clove in addition to the recurring classics. The new flavor is described as “creamy… and the black pepper adds just a touch of smoke.” Visit one of the five locations (Wallingford, Capitol Hill, Madrona, Queen Anne or Ballard) or stop by the site and its too-convenient online store to get your fancy locally sourced ice cream fix!

      Funktastic Seattle band Richie Aldente has announced a CD release show for their latest album, ‘Disco Baby’. The 21+ show will be 11/2 at Nectar in Fremont, and will feature Dionvox, and local acts The Dip and Mugatu in support. Tickets and information are available on the Facebook event page.
