      Located right in the heart of the music venue/trendy bar/coffee shop/vintage store-infested Seattle neighborhood, Capitol Hill Block Party is the place to be for any music-loving hipster. It is an awesome festival to discover locals bands and catch a few of your favorite bigger name acts. So for those that want to relive the awesome weekend, or for any of you that wish you were there, I got your back! There is no possible way for me to talk about every single band at CHBP, so here is a rundown on the highlights of the three day festival:


    7. News : Bumbershoot 2014 Lineup Announcement

      Seems like the PNW has been holding a long collective breath for the 2014 Bumbershoot lineup, and it’s finally here! There’s a fantastic lineup of artists both local and otherwise making an appearance between 8/30 and 9/1, including Foster The People, J. Cole, Wu-Tang Clan, Panic! At The Disco, and Neon Trees, as well as PNW acts like The Head And The Heart, Fly Moon Royalty, Hobosexual, Cumulus, and many, many, many more.     9. News : FIDLAR posts new music video for ‘Awkward’

      After a great appearance at Seattle’s Bumbershoot, LA-based FIDLAR has posted a live music video forĀ Awkward, recorded at a concert in Australia. The band is gearing up for a US tour with fellow LA group The Orwells. Unfortunately, FIDLAR won’t make it back to Seattle for this tour, but stay tuned for Bumbershoot photos from RCA’s own Kelly Mason, including shots of FIDLAR!     10. News : Ivan & Alyosha debut video for ‘Be Your Man’

      In time for the folk pop five-piece’s west coast tour with fellow Washingtonian Brandi Carlile, Ivan & Alyosha has debuted a music video for their single, ‘Be Your Man’. This single is off of the band’s first full-length album All the Times We Had, released February 26th, 2013. The band’s tour will start on July 27th at Carnation, WA’s Timber Outdoor Music Festival, and will loop through several major Californian venues and southern Oregon before bringing Ivan & Alyosha back to Seattle for Bumbershoot Festival.
