Rising indie-sensation Atlas Genius have caused quite a stir with their album, When It Was Now, along with an uproar of positive feedback to the band’s latest singles, “Trojans” and “If So”. After a slew of successful festival stints and their debut album charting at No. 34 on the Billboard 200, everyone’s favorite Aussies are hitting the road to embark on yet another US headline tour. This upcoming weekend Atlas Genius will be making their way to our beloved Pacific Northwest with shows at both the Crystal Ballroom in Portland (Nov. 9) and the Neptune Theatre in Seattle (Nov. 11) with Family of the Year and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. supporting. Muddle your way through the rain and get to a venue because this is a show you won’t want to miss!

Last time, I talked about how cool Olan Rogers was in his video “Ghost in the Stalls.” Today, I still preach the validity of cool-ness that is Olan Rogers. If he made music instead of youtube videos, I would never turn off my ipod. I mean, at least it isn’t the “Friday” song by Rebecca Black!
