Moneta Record Release Update
While working on their new record ‘The Only Constant’ this Summer, Seattle band Moneta encountered studio scheduling sessions that delayed mixing and mastering until just recently. Originally slated for a Summer 2013 release, the band is now working hard to fulfill the Indiegogo campaign packages and wrap up the record as needed. The official statement is below, as pulled from the band’s Facebook:
NEW ALBUM UPDATE:
Hey guys, we just wanted to take a minute to update you on the status of our upcoming new album, “The Only Constant.” Due to scheduling issues, we’ve been unable to finish the mixing and mastering process until now. Recording studios book out months in advance and we basically had to wait our turn to get back in. This is pretty common in the industry and is the reason why a lot of albums take a great deal of time to complete.
Along with mixing and mastering, we’ve also begun the process of fulfilling all of the packages for funders of the Indiegogo campaign that we ran. This includes production of the cover songs, handwritten lyrics, signed items, exclusive t-shirts and posters, as well as scheduling the remaining acoustic shows. Reminder: All items (with the exception of shows) will ship WITH the hard copy of the CD once the album is released.
Thank you all for your patience and continued support. Look for a release date coming very soon!
