Moneta Announce Indiegogo Campaign
Straight from the horse’s mouth:
“Since forming in 2007, Moneta has always kept the priority of making high quality recordings at the top of our list. 3 EP’s and 1 full-length album later, we’ve decided that for our next album that it’s time for us to take it to the next level both creatively and production-wise. This time, we’ve recruited the services of renowned producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Hoobastank, Jack’s Mannequin) and will be tracking at the legendary Robert Lang Studios (Nirvana, Deathcab For Cutie, Taking Back Sunday) here in Seattle in late May 2013. We are so excited about not only the prospect of creating a timeless record for our fans, but for an experience that all of us as musicians and artists will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Moneta has always been a hard-working band that has funded all of our previous records with money from shows and out of our own pockets. We have committed to funding as much of this record as possible within all of our means, but since this time we are recording at a higher level studio with an acclaimed producer, we are asking for your help to meet us in the middle of the higher cost. All of your contributions will go towards recording, mixing, mastering, and duplication costs as well as covering the cool perks we have planned. If we happen to exceed our campaign goal, the extra money will go towards the filming of a high quality music video. Thank you all for helping us in achieving this goal!”
