Lots of momentum in the music world as Summer turns up. Let’s take a look at what’s new in the world:

First up, ADTR guitarist Kevin Skaff’s old band Four Letter Lie is back with some gnarly new material and a fresh deal with Artery Records. A little heavy, a little Southern, a lot of fury. Watch the lyric vid for ‘Inversion’ below, and keep an eye out for new album Like Structures due 8/5:

Detroit heavyweight The Devil Wears Prada has a new music video for ‘Sailor’s Prayer’ that is totally out of left field, but reasonably entertaining. These guys will be all over the 2014 Warped Tour, so be sure to see these vets. You won’t regret it.

Microstate metalcore band Helia just put out a new video for ‘No Future’. This band from the Most Serene Republic Of St. Marino is an exciting act on the massive roster that is InVogue Records. Get a taste of this.

Also on InVogue, Hotel Books has a new music video for single ‘Cult Leader’ off the forthcoming double EP I’m Almost Happy Here, But I Never Feel At Home. This video features a fuller band than previous material, but every bit of emotion. The double EP is out on July 1st, so keep your ears open.

Let’s turn it down a bit more. TWY frontman Dan Campbell announced his side project Aaron West And The Roaring Twenties a few weeks back. Campbell has a new music video for ‘Divorce And The American South’, and it’s exactly as good as you’d think it’d be. Very.

On the sunnier side of things, NY band Bishop Allen has a fun new video for ‘Start Again’. Watch watch!

California punk breakout band Joyce Manor also has a new song, simply titled ‘Schley’. It’s off Never Hungover Again, out July 22 on Epitaph.

We’ll end on the gorgeously weird. Swedish duet JJ has a new music video for ‘All White’, and the vid is as creepy as the song is beautiful. Uh, don’t watch it alone at night. Like I am. Right now.

But honestly. This song is magnificent.
