    1. Interview : Luna God

      Posted on in Interview

Seattle’s electronic scene has never been a secret, with some of the coolest venues like Q Night Club and organizations like USC and Upper Left bringing by some of the biggest tours. However, I find that the gems of Seattle are slowly growing in smaller events such as Jet Seattle- previously hosted on Friday nights in Barboza. There, I was able to discover some of the best DJ’s and producers Seattle has to offer.

    10. Gallery : Toro Y Moi at Neumos 9/20

There is no better candidate to open a Toro y Moi show than Anthony Ferraro- who plays keys for Toro’s touring band. Anthony’s group- Astronauts, etc. is the perfect pairing for this tour, bringing cool slow melodic dream pop to the swaying crowd. The rising quintet combines groovy guitar sounds and subtle drum beats to compliment Ferrero’s soft vocals and synth. Astonauts, etc. proved themselves to be artists to watch with their release of the album “Mind Out Wandering” just days before the beginning of tour. Hopeful for a headlining show from these guys soon!
