      Indie megaband San Fermin will be bringing their massive, catchy take on chamber pop to Portland 10/18, Seattle’s Barboza this Saturday, 10/19, and Vancouver BC 10/20. The Brooklyn-based 8-piece is masterminded by composer/arranger Ellis Ludwig-Leone, and has garnered plenty of attention for the first single, Sonsick, a song you can check out below!

      Buffalo NY upstart Pentimento has been making waves for a while now, and the momentum in the young band’s career doesn’t look to be slowing down at all. The quartet posted a great new song titled Just Friends today from their upcoming EP, and will be embarking on a US tour this weekend with Real Friends, Mixtapes, and Forever Came Calling.

    3. News : Sleigh Bells and Doldrums North American Tour

      Hailing from Montreal, tweaky electronic band Doldrums is gearing up for a Fall North American tour, featuring dates in Vancouver BC, Seattle, and Portland. Doldrums is support to the tour for big shot New York noise pop act Sleigh Bells. The tour will kick off in Vancouver BC 10/10, and visit Portland and Seattle respectively in the next two nights.     4. News : Polar Bear Club Signs to Rise Records, Fall Record Release and Tour in Tow

      In the continuation of a big year for Rise Records, New York post-hardcore outfit Polar Bear Club has signed to the California-now-Oregon based label. After working with scene staple Will Yip, the band is set to release their first full-length in two years, ‘Death Chorus’, this fall, and will kickoff a mostly-East Coast fall tour with Transit and fellow New Yorkers Taking Back Sunday on October 11th.

    5. News : Moving Mountains’ Third Full Length Due September 10th

      New York’s ambient indie band Moving Mountains has set September 10th as the release date for their upcoming self-titled. Moving Mountains will represent the band’s third full-length effort, and the second on Triple Crown Records after 2011’s Waves. The Westchester quartet teamed up with legendary producer Matt Goldman (Underoath, Copeland, The Devil Wears Prada) to , finished recording the new songs as of May 25th, and has since posted the track listing, album art, and a video teaser on the Moving Mountains website.
