This tour is bound to do well, so pick up your tickets sooner rather than later! There are a number of ticketing options, including a $50 VIP package that involves exclusive merch and some sort of meet-and-greet. Since this is a band that may not be playing together a whole bunch more in the future, don’t sleep on the VIP! Tickets are available on the Neumos calendar.

    2. Gallery : of Montreal And Yip Deceiver At Neumos 3/27

Of Montreal: a Georgian psychedelic pop/rock band with songs you could just lose yourself for a few hours with. This band has its hands in just about everything. Known for being part of the elephant six collective, a group of bands like The Olivia Tremor Control and Neutral Milk Hotel, which has seen success in the indie rock world for quite some time. Going on 20 years of age, the band has had numerous records from the late 90s, but saw their biggest albums in the mid 2000s with Sunlandic Twins and Hissing Fauna Are You The Destroyer. Taking influences from 60s rock with heavy guitar and melodic synth, Of Montreal has to be one of the most creative and inventive bands my ears have had the chance to listen to.

    6. Gallery : Giraffage At Neumos 2/19

If you haven’t been put onto Giraffage all I have to say to you- my friend- is better late than never. California kid, Charlie Yin, has garnered the attention of many over the past few years. Combining a veriety of sound effects, original instrumentals and samples- Giraffage always has multiple levels and layers to his songs. They somehow sneak a message or emotion adding to the complexity that the talented producer is able to create in every song. I first had the pleasure of seeing him rock a show with XXYYXX over a year ago and have been hooked onto his sounds since. Last week Giraffage headlined a sold out show originally scheduled for Barboza and later moved to Neumos- as expected it was an awesome kick ass party!
