      Washington folk singer/songwriter Noah Gunderson has made his sampler ‘Rocks And Valleys’ available for a suggested donation of $6 on NoiseTrade! We’ve posted about Gunderson a few times before, and we’re always excited to see such a gifted artist come out of the PNW. Catch the sampler on NoiseTrade, follow Noah Gunderson on Facebook, and see him perform live 2/15 at the Neptune Theater in Seattle and 2/16 in Portland!


    2. News : Fruit Bats Performing ‘Mouthfuls’ In Entirety TONIGHT 11/14

      To commemorate ten years of their landmark record ‘Mouthfuls’, the Fruit Bats will be playing all ten tracks live TONIGHT, 11/14, at Seattle’s Neptune Theater. With frontman/mastermind Eric D. Johnson deciding to discontinue the Fruit Bats as a vehicle for his songwriting, this could very well be the last time Seattle sees the iconic folk rock band perform under this moniker. Johnson has confirmed that he will continue in his efforts toward writing soundtracks and new music and may yet perform Fruit Bats songs in the future.     3. News : Black Joe Lewis Fall Tour

      Raging Texan rock band Black Joe Lewis is hitting the road in support of their new record ‘Electric Slave’. The tour will tear through Boise 11/27 and Seattle’s Neptune Theater 11/29, swing up to Vancouver BC 11/30, and come back to Portland 12/1 to rip up the rest of the West coast.     4. News : Grynch To Open For Bone Thugs-n-Harmony 11/21

      On 11/21, Seattle rapper Grynch will join Cool Nutz and legendary rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony for an all-ages performance at Seattle’s Neptune Theater. This will be Grynch’s last performance in Seattle for 2013, and with such an incredible lineup it’s sure to be a great night. Tickets are available on the Neptune Theater website.

      I don’t dance. Not even in the “sway with the music” sense. When I made it to Seattle’s hallowed Neptune Theater for Peace, St. Lucia, and Two Door Cinema Club, I had less than no idea what I was getting into.

      UK bands Peace and Two Door Cinema Club will be bringing their catchy brands of indie pop rock to Vancouver BC 10/25 and to Seattle’s Neptune Theater the following night. Peace’s debut LP ‘In Love’ will be out in the US October 1st on Sony Records, and ticketing information is available on the official Peace Facebook profile. Get familiar with some of the songs, like the music video for Lovesick below, or the band’s cover for Disclosure song White Noise. This is a show you won’t want to miss!


    7. News : Jacuzzi Boys Fall Tour with Wavves and King Tuff

      Surfy Floridian rockers Jacuzzi Boys are setting out for a Fall US Tour, with a leg of the tour joining King Tuff to support California pop band Wavves. All three bands will pass through Vancouver BC 10/18, Seattle’s Neptune Theater 10/19, and Portland 10/20. Jacuzzi Boys are traveling to promote their newly released self-titled, which came out last week on Hardly Art records.


    8. News : Noah and The Whale US Tour Dates Posted

      In anticipation of the band’s 4th studio album, English quintet Noah and The Whale is embarking on a US tour that will start 9/27 at Seattle’s Neptune Theater. The tour will visit Vancouver BC and Portland OR the following two nights before going down the West Coast and heading East.


    9. News : Cumulus Record Release Show With Kithkin and Sundries 10/3

      Indie pop band Cumulus is set to release their debut record ‘I Never Meant It To Be Like This’ on Trans Records, due out on October 1st. On the 3rd, the Seattle band will be celebrating the record with a release show at Neumos with fellow Seattle bands Kithkin and Sundries. Tickets are $10 advance, available on the Facebook event page, and check out one of the album’s singles, Middle before the show.
