      You may have heard rumblings lately around town of a new “supergroup” forming. Well, it’s The Wild Things. Brandon “Bird” Ereth and Chad Keller of Monsters Scare You!, Cody Freiburger of Keeping Secrets, Leo Martin of Moneta, and Preston McDonald of Sky Pilot have joined forces to create this new rock band, and they’re making moves. Now in the studio working on their debut album, Joe Bosslet and I had a chance to catch this veteran band’s first show at the Nectar Lounge on 12/11.       Tonight at the Nectar Lounge The Classic Crime will be headlining, featuring the debut show of new Seattle supergroup The Wild Things. Valadares and the Matt Bacnis Band will also be performing. Tickets start at $16 and are available online!

      Funktastic Seattle band Richie Aldente has announced a CD release show for their latest album, ‘Disco Baby’. The 21+ show will be 11/2 at Nectar in Fremont, and will feature Dionvox, and local acts The Dip and Mugatu in support. Tickets and information are available on the Facebook event page.
