      TONIGHT with the BadChristian living room tour, Seattle’s darling duo Vocal Few will be making a performance along with Emery’s Matt & Toby. Tickets look to be sold out, but the MacDonalds will be performing for free at the Living Room Lounge in Bellevue on 9/12!

      The first I heard of Seattle’s Moneta was six years ago. I fought a crazy cold to see Sherwood at Chop Suey, and one of the opening acts was Moneta and maybe Madison Drive. I remember liking the poppy rock I heard, but I was too busy meeting my San Luis Obispo heroes to stop by the Moneta table.

      Ten years, almost to the day. 9 years, 353 days. Last Friday night at El Corazon, Emery kicked off the West coast leg of their ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary tour. With fellow Seattle bands Peace Mercutio and The Classic Crime and Long Beach’s This Wild Life in tow, the second leg of the tour is off to a sensational start. As with the East Coast leg of the tour, the lineup is largely acoustic, with stripped-down Emery songs and Q&A sessions between sets.


    4. News : TONIGHT! – Emery’s ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary Show

      Tonight at El Corazon in Seattle, Emery will be kicking off the West coast leg of ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary Tour! It’s sure to be a blast, with support from fellow Seattle acts Shoreline Drive, Peace Mercutio, and Matt MacDonald of The Classic Crime, and an appearance by California band This Wild Life. The headlining Tooth & Nail golden boys will offer a blistering electric play-through of ‘The Weak’s End’, as well as a few other favorites. Tickets are $18 on the El Corazon website, and doors are at 6:30!


    5. News : Vocal Few Announce Valentine’s Day StageIt Show

      Seattle sweethearts Vocal Few have announced a Valentine’s Day flavored StageIt show (not another baby), set for 6:30 PST on 2/13. As always, prizes will be awarded to the top supports, including a disposable camera with pictures documenting the show, handwritten lyrics by Matt MacDonald, signed CDs, shirts, and other fun things. Pick up tickets on StageIt, and catch Matt playing The Classic Crime songs acoustically this Friday for Emery’s The Weak’s End 10th Anniversary West Coast Tour Kickoff!


    6. News : Vocal Few Set Winter StageIt Show For 12/19

      Seattle darling duo Matt and Kristie MacDonald, collectively known as Vocal Few, has scheduled a second Stageit performance, this time hinting at a holiday set. As before, the streaming concert is pay-what-you-can, with a handful of special rewards for the highest paying “attendee”.     7. News : The Weaks’ End 10th Anniversary Tour West Coast Dates Added

      Seattle icon Emery will be continuing ‘The Weak’s End’ 10th Anniversary Tour for about two weeks in the new year, with dates in Seattle 1/24 and Portland 1/25, featuring original guitarist/vocalist Devin Shelton. Supporting acts The Classic Crime (Matt MacDonald Acoustic) and Peace Mercutio, both Seattle bands, will continue with the tour, and Long Beach CA’s This Wild Life will also be playing. Keep your eyes peeled for venue and ticketing information!


    8. News : The Weak’s End 10 Year Anniversary Tour Lineup

      To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Emery’s breakout album, ‘The Weak’s End’, the band has reunited with former co-frontman Devin Shelton for one tour. Emery has not posted West coast dates yet, but will be playing some major cities with fellow Seattleites The Classic Crime (billed as “Matt MacDonald Performing Interactive Storyteller Set”) and Peace Mercutio, as well as Long Beach artist This Wild Life. Keep an eye out for West coast dates on the Emery Facebook page, which should be posted later this week or early next week!
