    1. News : Help Underoath Finalize Their Farewell Tour Video

      Several years after the band’s last show, Underoath is putting the finishing touches on their Farewell Tour video. The film is titled Tired Violence, and the band is looking for fan support to finish and release (on Blu-Ray!) the completed piece. Head to the Tired Violence page to check out the packages and viewing party locations. Sadly, no Seattle date.

      Last week we had the pleasure of hosting American Island, STRNGRTHNGS, and Peace Mercutio at The High Dive in Fremont. We sold out the cozy little bar with this trio of major Seattle players, packed with smooth croonings, lights and lasers, and an emotional farewell to Peace Mercutio… hence the working title “Peace Out Mercutio”.

      Shredtastic Canadian band Blessed By A Broken Heart will be headlining a Halloween show at El Corazon with other “back from the dead” bands like Monsters Scare You!, From Aphony, and Keeping Secrets’ original lineup! Tickets are a whopping $10 on the El Corazon calendar, and it’s a historic night: Blessed By A Broken Heart will be calling it quits again after this show.

      Don’t miss this: Anberlin’s final tour dates are midway through announcements, but the band has confirmed dates through the PNW, which will go on sale TODAY at 12PM PST! The Floridian veterans will hit Seattle 10/13 at Showbox at the Market, Portland’s Wonder Ballroom 10/14, and Spokane’s Knitting Factory 10/15. Ticket links are included above, so see you there!

      Some of the biggest news in the industry lately has been based around Anberlin’s final album and farewell world tour. With hints and pieces of new music from lowborn and random strings of dates announced so far, the band has finally posted dates for the rest of the US, including dates in Seattle 10/13 at Showbox, Portland 10/14, and Spokane at the Knitting Factory 10/15. Tickets for the Seattle date/whole tour will go live on July 11th, so bookmark the Showbox website to be first on the list!

      It’s with heavy hearts that we formally bid Monsters Scare You goodbye. The long-running Seattle sextet has made a name for itself in the PNW, fusing post-hardcore and screamo with electronica and putting out a couple sweet releases. Come see this band off on Saturday, 3/15, at El Corazon for only $10 advance. MSY will share the stage with other notable local acts, including Keeping Secrets, Pink Bead, Prestige, Reach For The Sky, and We The Audience.
