      After 17 years with Seattle band Death Cab For Cutie, Chris Walla will be parting ways. Walla will continue touring this Summer, including the Rifflandia Festival in Vancouver BC September 11-14. The program, similar to NPR’s Tiny Desk concerts, presents stripped down performances of key Northwest artists in Seattle’s famous Smith Tower. Seattleite John Roderick is joining Campfire OK and Noah Gunderson as show alums this month, as the former Harvey Danger touring musician, The Decemberists, Death Cab, and Nada Surf guest musician, and prolific writer brings his talents to this exciting new program.       Bellingham indie rock heroes Death Cab For Cutie celebrates the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking album ‘Transatlanticism’ with an expanded reissue of the original record. The reissue includes demo versions of all 11 tracks, and is available to stream on NPR’s First Listen now.
