A Pyrrhic Victory Disbands
Spokane metal band A Pyrrhic Victory called it quits this weekend after years of being one of Eastern Washington’s most promising acts. The band’s final show will be September 4th, but due to undisclosed circumstances the band is unable to throw an actual farewell show. Find out more at the APV Facebook page, including ticketing information and links to the to-be-discounted merch, or read guitarist/vocalist Craig Taylor’s formal statement below:
For many years we have loved playing for Spokane. We’ve had the privilege of traveling with close friends, and have played some crazy shows. Through all the ups and downs of the local scene we have been constant.
We have enjoyed being a band to look up to, and a group of individuals who have had the opportunity to contribute to the scene that we love. We treasure all the memories and special times. We’ve grown together, and learned even more together.
But it is my unfortunate duty to inform all of you that as of this week, APV will no longer be a band.
The show on the 4th of September will be OUR LAST SHOW. We want to see all the people who can make it out be there. i know its last minute… but recent situations being what they are we are unable to theow a final farewell show.
We want to thank every single one of you for always supporting us, always living it up with us at every show, and for making this the best years of our lives. We would love to see everyone out on Wednesday. Come and hang with us one last time.
Our merch will be discounted, and available. We love you all so much. Thank you for all the memories.
