The Fastback Sessions is a brand new documentary series featuring intimate performances by a variety of Northwest talent. Hosted by Fastback Studios in a residential North Seattle neighborhood, these sessions show you a different side of the artist while subtly promoting the awesome studio space. We were graciously invited to check out the event last Wednesday with local folk trio &Yet (listen to their BandCamp over there ->), and the event planner in me was giddy with excitement over the open format and execution of all things. Who can complain about good people, good music, and free beer? Not this girl. Apparently camera shutters and highly sensitive microphones aren’t the best combination, but I made do with what I was given (and snapped away while they were playing their cover song). Enjoy!
